多人运动 was formed as BSC Enterprises in 1999 by Brian Sass and business partner Stockton Croft to acquire the assets of medical imaging products company Techno-Aide from National Service Industries . Brian Sass, who had worked for competitor Atlantic Envelope Company in Atlanta, saw an opportunity to get back into the envelope business when Double Envelope and its sister company, commercial printer Convertagraphics, were scheduled to go on the auction block with Diversified Assembly, a file folder company, in the 2001 bankruptcy of Dimac Corporation.  Before the Dimac auction, they formed a holding company called 多人运动 and bought the three companies. They later sold Techno-Aide and Diversified Assembly. Croft, an investment banker in Atlanta, remains a minority shareholder and holds a board position.

In 2003, 多人运动 moved it's corporate headquarters from Atlanta, Georgia to Roanoke Virginia.

In October 2006, 多人运动 acquired direct mail printer Champion Printing, Inc. which operates in Cincinnati, Ohio. Champion joined BSC's Convertagraphics, a four-color direct mail web printer in Roanoke, Virginia.

In May 2010, 多人运动 acquired Oles Envelope Corporation which operates in Baltimore, Maryland. Founded in 1912, Oles Envelope Corporation, now Double Envelope Maryland, operates a 115,000 square foot custom envelope manufacturing facility.

In December 2010, 多人运动 acquired Wolf Envelope Corporation which operates in Angola, Indiana. Founded in 1923, Wolf Envelope, now Double Envelope Indiana, operates a 90,000 square foot custom envelope manufacturing facility.

In April 2013, 多人运动 acquired Florida Envelope Company in Brandon, Florida and integrated manufacturing operations with the Double Envelope Florida division in Gainesville. The acquisition of Florida Envelope added flat sheet printing capability to 多人运动. A sales office was kept in Brandon, Florida to continue to server existing Florida Envelope customers.
